1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at recruitment.velare.ae (the "Site"), operated by Velare ("we", "us", "our") from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About our services
The Site provides information about Velare's recruitment and executive search services, allows candidates to submit CVs and enquiries, and allows employers to engage us on mandates. The Site itself does not constitute a formal service agreement — separate written engagement terms apply to any instructed mandate.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to submit information through this Site. If you are submitting on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including CVs that misrepresent qualifications or employment history.
- Use the Site to distribute unsolicited advertising, spam, or automated queries.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its systems, or any associated networks.
- Copy, scrape, or reproduce content from the Site (including job listings) for the purpose of operating a competing recruitment service.
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable UAE laws, sanctions, or regulations.
5. No candidate fees
In accordance with UAE law, Velare does not charge candidates any fee for recruitment, job search, representation, or placement services. If anyone represents themselves as acting on our behalf and requests a fee from a candidate, please report it to us immediately at info@velare.ae.
6. Job listings
Job listings published on the Site are posted in good faith based on information supplied by the hiring organisation. Listings may be withdrawn, amended, or filled at any time. Applying for a role does not create any entitlement to interview, offer, or employment — all hiring decisions rest with the employer.
7. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and underlying code — is owned by or licensed to Velare and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and, for personal non-commercial reference, print pages from the Site, but may not otherwise copy, modify, or redistribute any content without prior written permission.
The "Velare" name and logo are trademarks of Velare and may not be used without permission.
8. Third-party content and links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We provide these for convenience only and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to the terms of those sites.
9. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velare disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velare shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site. Our total liability in connection with the Site is limited to AED 1,000 or the amount paid by you to Velare in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable UAE law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Velare harmless from any claim, loss, or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or from your submission of information that is false, misleading, or infringes a third party's rights.
12. Changes to the Site and to these Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, including the laws of the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
